Unnoticed

There is a heavenly body in the night sky
I look upon
I sit and stare with a blank gae stuck to my face
pondering almost everything of importance
One can learn a lot by tearing apart ideas
that aged sphere seems to be glaring back at me
it hovers there watching over my every thought
giving me the advice of the millions of voices who live beneath it
each voice makes it grow with piercing light
so I can be caught up in its beauty
I'm drawn to its intensity
I'm caught gawking at it with the image burned into my eyes
It gives me the sense of comfort I desire
To let me know I'm never alone
to give me the respect I search for
It understands me
Everyone and everything over looks me
uncaringly
the wolf howls at it
wanting to be recognized by society
wanting to be picked out of the crowd
and idolized every once in a while
It doesn't want to be different
just noticed
I am that wolf...

unnoticed
