With all the busy times I'm going through I still manage to find the time to be in color guard. Many of you might not know what that is, so I'm here to explain it to you. The color guard, is a group of people typically associated with a marching band. (refer to picture at left) We are the people with the colored flags, rifles or sabres. We perform routines to the music to add a visual effect to the show. However, with what I am involved in, there isn't a band. It is called winter guard. Winter guard is the same thing as a band guard but we use taped music and we are indoors. It is definately an underground sport. It's known as the sport of the arts. To the right is a picture of me during the '98 winter season. The theme and our music was to the recent movie of Romeo and Juliet.
